Spin Bin Compost Tumbler
The newest tumbling composter on the market, the Spin Bin Compost Tumbler comes with many benefits that make it one of the best composters available.
Made of 100% recycled plastic (yay!), it is molded right here in the USA (yay, again), and its dark color absorbs light and helps heat up the materials inside, speeding up the composting process. Inside the bin, the walls are ribbed, providing added strength and superior mixing action.
With 20 ventilation slots, the compost inside the bin will always have enough oxygen to keep it well aerated. When the composter is positioned upright, the slots allow compost tea to drain out easily into the soil. A single hole on each of the four panels of the bin makes an easy-to-use port for a compost thermometer (sold separately). This makes it easy to get a quick, mess-free temperature reading on the compost inside without even opening the bin.
The tumbling action of the bin keeps the contents inside well mixed, creating compost in almost half the time as a stationary compost bin. The bin holds up to 60 gallons (or about 9.3 cubic feet), and the sturdy, powder coated steel legs hold the bin securely off the ground.
Both ends have twist-locking lids which help keep animals out and away from the compost. The legs also lock into place, so moving the Spin Bin in the yard is easy to do without the legs falling off.
Compost instructions are embossed on the inside of each lid, so you have a quick reference guide.
