Start your baby off right by staying away from synthetic chemically treated mattresses, and put him or her to bed on this all natural mattress that is made from the purest of ingredients! Studies have shown that mice who slept on vinyl covered foam core mattresses had airflows reduced by one quarter. Furthermore, toxic, chemical laden mattresses can cause irritation to the nose, throat, eyes, as well as cause asthma like reactions and difficulty with breathing.

Made with organic cotton and certified organic chemical free wool, which contains no extraneous chemicals or contaminated fibers. A natural flame retardant, wool is also water and bacteria resistant, and has dust mite control properties.

At 6" thick, this natural crib mattress has a 260 coil count, in contrast to 180 coils found in most crib mattresses. This makes for an extra firm surface that lasts. The mattress does have some "give", which cuts down on flat head syndrome.

Choose from the regular crib mattress, or one with interior edge supports, designed for later use as a toddler bed. This additional built-in reinforcement enables children to sit on the edge of the mattress without rolling off.

To protect Baby's mattress from wetness, we recommend purchasing organic wool puddle pads. For maximum protection, we suggest using an organic cotton mattress pad on top of the puddle pad.
