Puddle Pads

These 1/8" thick 100% certified organic (by Oregon Tilth) wool puddle pads are naturally resistant to moisture and provide an safe alternative to dangerous plastic crib mattress covers that are made using vinyl chloride, a well documented carcinogen. Wool is naturally flame retardant, mite, mildew and bacteria resistant, comfortable to lay on, PLUS it regulates body temperature!

These soft (not itchy), strapless wool pads should be used with a sheet on top of them. You may often be able to get away with just wiping off/soaking up the wetness from this pad, without needing to wash it, due to its liquid repellant and bacteria resistant properties.

We recommend purchasing two puddle pads for your crib so that you have a spare when one is in the laundry. Also available are porta crib pads, as well as custom sizes. Easy to clean, and fast drying, these flat wool pads are machine washable on delicate cycle, and should be hung to dry (out of direct sunlight).
