An environmentally friendly option, the German engineered Brill uses less metal than other mowers and weighs only 17 pounds – a third of the weight of a clunky power mower.
The Razorcut 38 still has the fab features of older Brill models, such as 5 flame-hardened, welded steel blades. When it comes to push reel mowers, 5 is the optimal number of blades, as they allow the mower to cut grass just below the bedknife. Furthermore, the blades can last up to a decade between sharpenings, unlike other push reel mowers that need sharpening every season. Cutting height is is easily set to between 0.7 inches and 1.8 inches (14 cm to 45 cm). Mower is not recommended for Bermuda, Zoysia or St. Augustine grasses, which need a taller cut.
